Everything about Indonesia on a plate!
Lobster dumpling is out of this world!! Wait, every dish was amazing and sophisticated. Everyone at the table said this was the best restaurant in Indonesia.. Must try white chocolate Martini too..
Bons satays. A comida é despretensiosa e simples mas saborosa. O atendimento é simpático e o staff sabe inglês. Prove os sumos naturais pois valem a pena. Um óptimo local em legian fora da linha da praia.
My favourite restaurant in Bali!
There is nothing I can fault about this amazing little restaurant. I have dined here several times and each time has been such an amazing experience. The food is 5 star quality, absolutely incredible food comes out of this place. The decor and surroundings are delightful and creates a lovely atmosphere. The staff are what made this such an amazing place for me, so warm and welcoming, they remembered each of our names and were incredibly accommodating and so genuine.
I can't wait to go back to this restaurant. I cannot recommend La Monde enough.
This place is where u go when you just want a proper meal without it being expensive or pretentious. You can sit overlooking the action on the street or further inside. The food is great quality or 'absolutely amazing' as my husband repeatedly put it after a few bintangs!!! We had garlic bread, chicken chap cay and a pizza. The portion sizes were excellent and service was so lovely. Definitely would go back again.
Oh and by the way, the spring rolls with bean sauce are to die for!!!
.... and there were even Aussie rules fans walking by, giving patrons the thumbs up!!!
La Mondes is an essential restaurant for every traveller going through Legian.... its that kind of place that when you are fed up of eating fancy restaurant food and looking for a wholesome meal La monies is where you go. the food is the kind of comfort food that you would cook up at home..... amazing lip smacking and definitely worth many meals more.
The customer service here is amazing. You can tell the manager/owner values his customers and builds a rapport with them. The foods are priced quite decently. I ordered the Tom Yum Goong for my entree and the Fettucine Pescatore. For my drink, I had the Hangover Cure which was a fresh smoothie of some sort. The smoothie was lovely and the Tom Yum Goong was definitely spicy. The pasta was pretty good too and tasted a lot better than some of the pastas I've had in Australia- and a lot cheaper too!
If I have any friends or family heading down to Bali and want a change from Balinese food, I'll definitely tell them to stop by here.
This is a must stop for me whilst I'm in Bali.
The chicken satay is brought to the table over hot coals and is smoky, tender and oh so delicious.
